Whether it’s running the snack bar at football games, announcing baseball games, or contributing to school beautification efforts, Dan’s dedication to Hoover and the broader Fresno community remains unwavering.
Lifelong Educator with Deep Fresno Roots
Dan Bordona is running for the Fresno Unified School Board because he believes that every child in Fresno deserves access to the best education possible. While there have been significant achievements in the district, Dan knows there is still much work to be done to create an environment where all students can thrive.
One of Dan’s key priorities is to ensure that schools provide safe and healthy learning environments. He understands that students need to feel secure and supported in order to succeed academically and personally. Dan is also a strong advocate for removing politics from education, believing that decisions about our schools should be made by those who are closest to the students—our local community members.
Dan is passionate about creating pathways to success for every student, regardless of their background. He sees early childhood education as a critical foundation for lifelong learning and is committed to improving graduation rates across the district. Dan also supports the development of career technical education programs that prepare students for the workforce and provide them with practical skills for their future careers.
By running for the School Board, Dan aims to continue his lifelong mission of serving Fresno’s youth. He is dedicated to engaging and supporting teachers and staff, improving schools and classrooms, and ensuring that Fresno’s children truly receive the best education our community can offer. Dan Bordona is ready to work tirelessly to build on the progress made and address the challenges that lie ahead, all in service of our students and their futures.
